Coonoor has always been passionate about writing. Once she starts, the words simply flow.
Having started her career writing scholarly articles, Coonoor discovered her passion for creating highly visual bilingual children’s books in English and Hindi after raising her two daughters abroad.
With her books being inspired by life’s everyday adventures and her travels with her husband into the far corners of the world, Coonoor hopes to help children learn new concepts, build their vocabulary and develop their knowledge through engaging stories that tickle their funny bones and create memories that last a lifetime.
Coonoor has a penchant for innovation and a curiosity for technology. Her books have been published in various digital formats, including Apps, and Audio E-Books that are available on the iBookstore and Google Play.

From the Asian Children's Writers & Illustrators Conference (ACWIC) and its successor to the Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) and more, Coonoor has been invited to present readings of her books at various prestigious events, as well as schools and community gatherings. During such sessions, Coonoor speaks on bilingualism, presents her books and moderates discussions.
