Initially published in Hindi as part of Coonoor’s first set of printed children’s books in 2006, this beautiful and unique book on colours is a delight for children. Palette-shaped, it introduces children to 11 basic colours with beautiful and quirky illustrations by Yasmin Mehra showing objects associated with the colours on each page.
Following the success of the Hindi edition, it was published as one of Coonoor’s set of four bilingual early learning books in Hindi and English in 2007.
The bilingual edition of this book teaches children about colours in Hindi and English, with the English pronunciation and translation for each colour and word. Other books in this series include 1, 2, 3 (१,२,३ Ek, Do, Teen), Shapes (आकार Aakaar) and The Hindi Alphabet (वर्णमाला Varnamala).
This book is designed to teach children early learning concepts and is suitable for kids from the age of 2 years old.
